Before booking, you must read through and agree to the booking, cancellation, safety & operating terms (Terms & Conditions):
This Cancellation and Weather Policy (“Policy”) governs all reservations, bookings, and charter services (“Services”) provided by Party Pontoonz Boston (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking a reservation, the customer (“Guest,” “you,” or “your”) agrees to be bound by the terms set forth herein.

General Provisions
Guest‑Initiated Cancellations (Public Tickets)

2.1 Standard Cancellations
a. Cancellations made more than seventy‑two (72) hours prior to the scheduled departure time are eligible for a refund, less a ten percent (10%) non‑refundable booking and processing fee.
b. Cancellations made within seventy‑two (72) hours of the scheduled departure time are non‑refundable.
c. Failure to appear for the scheduled departure (“No‑Show”) constitutes a cancellation and is non‑refundable.
2.2 Rescheduling (Public Tickets)
a. Guests may request to reschedule a reservation more than seventy‑two (72) hours prior to the scheduled departure time at no additional charge.
b. Rescheduling requests made within seventy‑two (72) hours of the scheduled departure time are subject to a rescheduling fee equal to twenty percent (20%) of the per‑ticket purchase price, and are contingent upon availability.
c. A reservation may only be rescheduled once.
d. Rescheduling fees are applied per ticket and are non‑refundable.
Private Charter Cancellations

3.1 Payment Requirements
Private charters require payment in full at the time of booking.
3.2 Cancellation Terms
a. Cancellations made more than seven (7) days prior to the scheduled departure time are eligible for a refund, less a ten percent (10%) non‑refundable booking and processing fee.
b. Cancellations made within seven (7) days of the scheduled departure time are non‑refundable.
3.3 Rescheduling
a. Rescheduling requests made more than seven (7) days prior to departure may be accommodated without penalty.
b. Rescheduling requests made within seven (7) days of departure are subject to a two hundred fifty dollar ($250) rescheduling fee and are contingent upon availability.
c. A private charter may only be rescheduled once.
Weather‑Related Cancellations

4.1 Operating Conditions
The Company operates in a variety of weather conditions, including light rain and overcast skies. The presence of precipitation alone does not constitute grounds for cancellation.
4.2 Unsafe Weather Conditions
The Company reserves the right to cancel or postpone a reservation if, in the sole judgment of the vessel’s captain or Company management, weather or marine conditions pose a safety risk. Unsafe conditions may include, but are not limited to:
Thunderstorms
Lightning
High winds
Dense fog
Harbor advisories or restrictions
Any condition deemed unsafe by the captain
4.3 Company‑Initiated Cancellations
If the Company cancels a reservation due to unsafe weather or operational concerns, Guests will be offered the choice of:
a. A full refund, or
b. A complimentary reschedule to any available date within the current operating season.
No administrative fees shall apply to Company‑initiated cancellations.
The vessel’s captain retains full and final authority over all safety‑related decisions, including but not limited to:
Departure delays
Route modifications
Trip termination
Weather‑related cancellations
All Guests must comply with the captain’s instructions at all times. Failure to comply may result in removal from the vessel without refund.

Captain’s Authority
Guests are required to arrive at the designated boarding location at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to departure.
Guests arriving after the scheduled departure time may be denied boarding at the Company’s discretion.
Late arrivals are treated as No‑Shows and are non‑refundable.

Late Arrivals
The Company shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or service interruptions caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, government actions, labor disputes, equipment failure, or acts of God.

Force Majeure
The Company reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking shall apply to that reservation.
